Snapdragons have finally popped up today. The squash, pumpkins, and cucumbers are getting so big. Some already have two good sized true leaves as well as more starting to open.

Did lots of transplanting today. Needed more room, so we opened up the leaf in the table. The plants that I have moved outside seem to be doing well thus far.

Today I mixed old soil with compost so that I could move my peas and onions outside. Also transplanted zucchini to larger pots.
Tools
These are some of the tools that I've used in my garden thus far this year. The light stand setup is an actual picture of mine. Many of the online pictures are light fixtures with only 1 or 2 bulbs, which does not cover as wide of an area. My light fixture has 6 bulbs.
As you can see, it is big enough for my greehouse lids to sit on top of it during the day so that I always have them within easy reach.

I'm so excited! My sweet bell peppers started popping up today, as did the bluebonnets. I'm looking forward to a little piece of Texas in my garden this year.
Outside plants
Every year I have a number of plants that overwinter and are still there when I plant next year's seedlings. This includes various kinds of strawberries, kale, celery, and basil. The basil and celery I've had for a few years now. The chives go dormant until it starts getting warm outside and then they come back to life, as do the two mint plants.
I also replace the flowers by my front door throughout the year to add a bit of cheer to our breezeway.
Starting Seeds - 2015
I started my seedlings on February 23, 2015. A few of my plants were done a few days later, as I had to wait for the seeds to arrive in the mail.
Included are herbs (cilantro and basil), tomatoes, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, baby bok choi, sugar snap peas, artichokes, sweet peppers, jalapenos, bunching onions, yellow squash, Asian fingers eggplant, and zucchini. I'm also testing out growing flowers from seeds this year - bluebonnets, pansies, and snapdragons.
More details on what I used, the process I went through, ect. will be on my blog.
My containers
Many of the containers that I have outside that hold my plants. On many of these I've included my hand to give you a better idea of the size.
